Alex Bugnon, a fantastic and spot on performer, sang old and new songs in the perfect set order. She played several instruments on stage, including a key-shaped keyboard worn around her neck like a guitar. The backup singers, the best I have ever heard, had incredible voices. Her show focused on peace and love, with high energy throughout, even during slow and meaningful songs. She interacted with the audience, despite seeming to struggle with her voice at times. She allowed her backup singers to shine on big notes. Despite this, her performance was still amazing and hit incredible notes. I was truly impressed by her performance and appreciated her choice of opening acts.
Melanie Fiona's CD is amazing, but I was uncertain how that would translate to a big venue stage. I was pleasantly surprised by her dynamic stage presence and flawless vocals. She kicked off the show in a great way with about a 5-song set. Robin Thicke then took the stage, showcasing a whole new side of himself. His aptly titled CD "Sex Therapy" was on full display, with a sexy and cool vibe. His energy and performance were both fantastic, reminiscent of Justin Timberlake with added soul. He danced, grooved, and played various instruments, creating an unforgettable experience for the audience. His red set, from the piano to the lighting, added to the overall allure.
